The Domain of Belcastel is in the well known wine-growing Corbières region of southern France. The house is situated on the side of a hill with beautiful views over the valley. The Domain whilst being off the beaten track is only 15 minutes drive away from the small but lovely town of Limoux and half an hour from the spectacular city of Carcassonne. Both the mountains and the Mediterranean are one hour distant.

The old farmhouse – which consists of our home and the self contained gite – are surrounded by 400 hectares of land. On these pastures and woodland is living and grazing our livestock, composed of 150 sheep and 30 galloway/angus cows. We also breed a few Haflinger horses and have two border collies and two cats at home.
